Like Can Tho, My Tho is an ideal destination in Mekong Delta for culinary exploration. All cafes and homestays serve famous specialties of local waterfront life: grilled fish in banana leaf, bloating fried elephant ear fish, sweet-sour fish soup, vegetable spring rolls, fish noodle soup, etc.

My Tho Tien Giang is very famous for its variety of fruit, especially the Lo Ren Vinh Kim’s delicious and beautiful milk apple which has been exported to global market recently.

My Tho is merely 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City, 103km from Can Tho and around 180 km from Chau Doc and Rach Gia. It is well connected by roads to all major cities in Mekong Delta.

The handiest and most beautiful way to travel to My Tho or Cai Be is by a scenic boat trip from Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho.
